Beautiful Handcrafted statuette of the Greek Goddess of War Athena (Roman’s Minerva).

The statuette is a reproduction after a Roman copy (2nd century AD) of the work by Myron of Eleutherae (5th century BC), artefact uncovered in Mestica, Bulgaria, currently in Sofia, Natsionalen Arheologitcheski Muzej Ban (Archaeological Museum). Goddess of wisdom, war and the crafts, and favourite daughter of Zeus, Athena was, perhaps, the wisest, most courageous of the Olympian gods. Made from hot cast bronze (Lost wax method) the statuette embeds genuine relief and has been aged with oxidized green patina.
