Venus Aphrodite Classical Greco-Roman Bronze Statuette Hot Cast Lost Wax Method with Beautiful Patina Museum Reproduction SB0013

Made from hot cast bronze (Lost Wax method) this collector’s artifact depicts the Greco-Roman goddess Venus/ Aphrodite, nude, with her weight on her right leg, and her left slightly flexed. Her left hand is covering the pubic area, while the missing right hand should be covering her breasts. The figurine embeds genuine relief, has beautiful patina, and some earthy surface soil deposits. This is a reproduction of the original relic in order to duplicate it for open and honest purposes. Such duplicates are made where the original is very rare and replacement is impossible. Reproductions of an ancient relic permit it to be displayed at more than one location or to be handled by the public.
